Wasted Time!!!!
I’ve not written too much on here lately, but my journal is still heavily packed most days, I just need to start putting more on here, New Years res right there!!!
But this morning had a pretty awesome journal entry which I need to get on here, maybe just one person will read it and have a little think to themselves!!
Well up before 6am on Christmas Eve, lay in bed with the usual dilemma of do I get up, stay in bed, relax while you can etc, or do I get up and use the hour to read/ journal.
So I got up!
Then I started to think about time, deep I know! But just started to consider the significance of an hour!
I’ve calculated that if I live to be 80 (fingers crossed!!!), deduct an average of 7hrs per night for sleep, I have around 254 thousand hours left to do all I want to do!
It actually doesn’t sound a lot does it????
Then when you think I will use 6 thousand of them this year you see it!!!
Like I said bit deep for Christmas Eve!!
But when you break time down like that it really makes you appreciate how short a time you have and also consider how you want to use that time!!! It really is precious.
I wonder what my cousin who passed away in his 20’s would give for a few hours with us all tomorrow, or what his parents would give for a few more hours with him.
So when I think about it like that you really have to feel privileged to be able to choose what we do with our time.
The clock is ticking always, you will always waste some time it’s human nature, but if you keep coming back to last day, what would you do and being the best version of yourself as much as possible then just maybe there will be a lot less of it wasted!!
Had to get this down!!! Once I start to look into getting this blog out there beyond me typing my thoughts, hopefully someone will read this, stop thinking about doing that thing they have been putting off and realise that somebody would give anything to be able to have that hour you have just wasted or about to waste!!!
Happy Christmas Eve!!!
I am definitely a better version of myself this Christmas Eve than I was last xxxx
